November-December holiday seasons conspire to make me want to cook elaborate meals that would probably fail miserably in real life (damn you, RealSimple, for making that five-course Turkey dinner look so ‘easy’…)
However, I thought I’d at least share this fail-safe recipe I found on one of my favorite food blogs, Smittenkitchen.com. I’m no connoisseur of Italian food, but even so, after making this mind-blowingly easy and DELICIOUS sauce, I will never again use jar or canned tomato sauce. Not even the expensive organic kind.
